Project 2 Idea Conceptualisation

  1. Idea Conceptualisation
  2.  Learning Intention  Today we are learning to  Understand the design opportunity, design brief and specifications of the project  Use the shape-borrowing technique for idea conceptualization  This is because  We need to be able to create suitable products using the technique and specifications given  Success Criteria  I know I have succeeded if I can  Sketch a 3d rendered product using the shape-borrowing technique
  3. DESIGN OPPORTUNITY While sending electronic messages may be quick and convenient, writing messages by hand adds a personal touch. It can be used not only to remind each other about errands to be done at home but also to convey feelings, especially among family members. A novel way of displaying handwritten messages could encourage family members to write to one another more often. This could also enhance family bonding. DESIGN BRIEF Design and make a memo display holder to encourage family members to write messages to one another. DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS  It should apply the balancing principle.  It should be able to display the handwritten note and hold a writing tool.  It should be able to alert others of a message that has been written.
  4.  Idea Conceptualization  Now that you have understood the design brief and specifications, it is time for idea conceptualization. Use the shape-borrowing technique to come up with suitable shapes for the memo display holder. Some examples are shown below.
