Fitness (CT Fit) is a fitness center located in San Jose CA. You can rest assured that you’ll be
exercising in a supportive, family-friendly, and safe environment, with coaches who are
passionate about what they do.
CT Fit is an extension of the Caio Terra Academy, which opened up in the heart of San Jose,
CA back in 2011. Our programs started evolving over the years as we began adding more
fitness components. Then, in 2020, with the help of industry leaders, we were able to launch
Caio Terra Academy Fitness! CT Fit is a 4,000 square foot gym filled with some of the best
cardio and weightlifting equipment in the bay area. We offer group fitness programs, personal
trainers, and an open gym.

2. Take your training to another level with our fitness programs! All of our fitness classes are
designed by top industry leaders, like CrossFit Games world champion Jason Khalipa. No
matter what your fitness goals are or how much experience you have, we have a program for
you!
At CT Fit, we’re excited to offer group fitness classes and one-on-one personal trainers. We
also have an open gym where you can use any of the cardio and weightlifting equipment when
there are no classes going on. Our open gym comes standard with any CT Fit membership.
We want everyone who steps foot into our gym to feel comfortable, which is why we provide a
family-friendly and supportive environment where you can do safe and effective workouts. If you
have a fitness goal, we have a program that can help you achieve it!
Health is our most essential commodity. At CT Fit San Jose, we focus on doing safe and
effective workouts that will improve the quality of your life. We recognize the fact that everyone
lives different lives and has different bodies. In addition to our group classes, we offer a
personal assessment and training to fix your body’s imbalances and restore your functional
movement.
For everyone’s safety, our fitness class sizes are always limited. To register for a class, you can
download the Caio Terra Academy Fitness app in the App store and register today! In addition
to scheduling classes, you can also manage your account, communicate directly with any of our
trainers, track your progress, and purchase merchandise.
3. Fitness Programs
Our group fitness programs are designed to increase strength, build muscle, and improve
functional movement. Our main class, Functional Fitness X, uses high-intensity, dynamic
movements to help you gain muscle strength and stamina. High-intensity training is also proven
to increase the maximum amount of oxygen you can utilize during exercise (VO2 max).
Functional exercises are ones that mimic movements you do in everyday life. These exercises
include squats, kettlebell swings, and overhead presses and can help improve your agility,
balance, and flexibility. Another great perk? These functional exercises can also reduce your
risk for injury and improve your quality of life as you age.
Functional workouts are also great for burning calories and losing weight. In fact, functional
exercises have been shown to burn more calories than traditional gym-type workouts. On
average, a 195-pound male or 165-pound female will burn 15-18 calories per minute and 13-15
calories per minute respectively, during their training session.
During traditional gym-type workouts, those same people will only burn about 11 calories per
minute and 9 calories per minute, respectively. Our Functional Fitness X classes are constantly
changing, so you will always be presented with new fun challenges that never end!
If your main goal is weight loss, we also recommend following a healthy diet regimen for
maximum results! Set your own personal goals and watch them materialize as you transform
your body and mind in a challenging and supportive environment.
