CILIP KM Chartership Submission
For KM, a critical benefit of a professional qualification is
well explained in ISO 30401-2018, section 7.2
Competence. For individuals, this short subsection
neatly sums up why a CILIP professional qualification
gives a whole career benefit. A revalidated Chartered
Knowledge Manager will confidently approach an
employer either as a potential employee, employee or
consultant, with instant, documented evidence of their
competence and commitment. Further, Revalidation will
demonstrate that they have an action plan to maintain
and improve their professional competence.

For individuals, this short subsection neatly sums up why a CILIP professional qualification gives a whole career benefit. Further, Revalidation will demonstrate that they have an action plan to maintain and improve their professional competence.
