TECHNOLOGY MATTERS Brightcove continued their leadership role in the technology field hosting a detailed workshop to tackle the delivery innovations that are fuelling the consumer’s sports experience. Key takeaways included insights on the new viewing habits of today’s audiences and their expectations when it comes to interacting with their sports heroes beyond watching the live game. The Sports Matters Academy provided an intensive forum for future leaders of the global sports industry. 40 participants from the University of Oregon -Warsaw Sports Marketing Center, the University of Victoria, Melbourne and 3 of Singapore’s universities were treated to closed door mentoring from the masters of various sectors that make up the varied and vibrant sports industry.
