One out of every three Americans (33%) has reported falling victim to phone scams at some point; among them, 20% have experienced such scams more than once. Despite Congress implementing the STIR/SHAKEN framework to safeguard Americans against robocalls and scammers, these fraudsters are still trying to evade government regulations and steal people's hard-earned money.
