machines, especially intelligent computer programs.
 Intelligence is computational part of ability to achieve
goals in real world. various kinds & degree of
intelligence occurs in human, animals & some
machines.

 Search:
AI program often examine a large number of
possibilities. e.g move in a chess game etc.

When program makes an observation, it is often
programmed to compare what it sees with a
pattern.
Example: A vision program may try to match a
pattern of eyes and a nose in a scene in order to
find a face.

and neural networks.
