I asked my model if he could make an angry
expression to show he was aggressive
towards the pad holder. I also told him to
grab Charlie’s arm to again show
aggression. I got them to hold the pose to
make the shot easier rather than him
running in and hitting the pad. This could
have caused injury and damage to them or
                                the objects in the room.

Commentary

I asked my model to grip the ball as tight
as he could and have an aggressive
expression. This picture is an example of
symmetry although the ball isn’t quite the
same on either side. But I eventually used
photo shop to edit out the writing and
                              brands.

Shooting details This image works well to advertise
Location: Priestley college because it shows him gripping the ball
(PA-16) tightly. This has connotations of strength
Time/Date: 1:30pm which then shows titanium energy.

Commentary

For this picture I had to ask a friend to
pass the ball to my model to create an
action shot that would be seen in a
rugby game. This was to make the
                              energy drink more believable and
appeal more to the audience. I cropped
the blue from the left edge in photo

Commentary

For this photo I got my model to lie
down on the floor and put his hand just
above the ball to create the effect he
was scoring a try. I also made the ball
the main focus. I cropped the blue out
from the right edge show it wouldn’t
                              spoil the photo.

Shooting details This image works well to advertise my
Location: Priestley college brand because even though it is in a
(PA-16) room it looks like a realistic action shot
Time/Date: 1:30pm which adds to the effect.

Commentary

For this picture I got my model on the
floor and told him to put his hand out
as if he was reaching for the can. This
can have bad connotations of the
                              model becoming addicted to the
energy drink but the main purpose is
him going beyond his maximum level
                              of performance.

In this photo I asked my model to turn

was looking at the camera. This
resembled a pose rugby players do for
                              sports clothing brands.

In this photograph I asked a friend to

shot. I had to get the height of the
camera right so I was inline with the
pass and the catch. I also had to take
the picture at the right time and I also
had to set the camera’s shutter speed
to a very fast speed. I set this to the

In this image I got my model to throw
the ball up and down to create an
action shot. I thought this image came
out really well. The surrounding lights
radiate against his skin and makes his

For this image I asked my model to get

image came out good and the white
ball really stood out and contrasted
                              against the black screen.

This image works well advertising my
