Avenged Severfold - Not ready to die playing in the
background. Accompanied by zombie groaning and rain
splattering against a window
FERGUS
Does anyone else hear that?
GROANING intensifies
HANK
Yeah that doesn’t sound too good
He opens the window with a CLICK. A zombie attacking is
heard.
HANK
Oh shit! ZOMBIES!
ALEX
Zombies? please tell me you’re
joking; seriously that is the
stupidest thing I have ever heard.
HANK
Nope, I ain’t kidding. Get over
here and have a look if you don’t
believe me
FOOTSTEPS are heard as Alex runs over to the window
ALEX
Oh god your right, shit what are we
gonna do?
FREDDY
Well you see there are zombies
we’ve got guitars, so what we do is
smash them into their heads.
HANK
Sounds like a plan... I guess.
ALEX
Woooooooooo! Lets do this.
They all run outside randomly STRUMMING guitars and
SCREAMING.

EXT. OUTSIDE THE STUDIO (WASTELAND)- NIGHT
Background sound effect of THUNDER, RAIN and WIND. Alongside
zombie GROANS.
Hank hits a zombie with a CRACK
HANK
I never knew that hitting something
over the head with my guitar would
be so much fun, but DAMN I got
blood on it!
FREDDY
Oh well little blood probably does
the strings good I mean it’s metal
and stuff plus you cut your fingers
when you shred anyway.
HANK
Do you... know anything about
guitar Freddy?
FREDDY
Nope I’m a drummer not a strummer.
HANK
Never say that again that was
just... awful.
ALEX
Can you two ladies stop having a
little chit chat already we got
zombies to kill over here.
FREDDY
God your making slaying hordes of
undead seem like work Alex.
ALEX
Fine then let’s make this
interesting: If you knock a
zombie’s head clean off that’s 10
points, just getting them in the
head is 5 points, anything else and
you suck! Bet I can rack up waaayyy
more points than you losers.
FREDDY AND HANK
You’re on!

I have no idea how this is supposed
to make the fact that our families
are probably dead fun, but oh well.
I’m up for a bit of good old
fashioned zombie killing.
Alex, Hank, Fergus, and Freddy all raise their guitars and
