OUR STORY3
Our company TECSOL Software has exten-
sive experience and background in the ser-
vices industry. Since 2009 we have executed
hundreds of projects for small as well as large
enterprises. Our primary focus has been in
the mobile development, web development,
cloud and hardware space.
We scaled operations from a small startup
with just one employee and grew all the way
to 50 employees in a short span. We always
wanted to retain the startup culture whilst
maintaining operations that of any leading IT
software company. With growth, this quickly
became a problem.
Our first step was to install a biometric time
and attendance machine that would allow us
to maintain our employee records and help us
with the access control. We needed up-to-date
information on employee attendance,time uti-
lization, leaves and holiday schedules. Only to
realize there was no easy way to get and man-
age this data.
In our research we soon discovered that ev-
eryone using this device faced similar prob-
lems. The device came highly recommended
and organizations claimed that they were very
happy with the performance and the features
it provided. However the only downside of us-
ing the device was the software. The current
software would need to connect to the device
manually and you would get reports that were
typically CSV dumps. Acquiring any useful in-
formation would require you to comb through
this data dump and carry out computations by
specifying formulae in an excel spreadsheet.
If you are operating out of multiple offices,
this demanded that you extract the data indi-
vidually from each location and then process
them one at a time to get the desired result.
We soon realized that there was an opportu-
nity and developed ClockIt. ClockIt is a cloud

of the amount of time the employee is
logged in for in your company. This is

ed to work for 8 hours a day excluding
all breaks and he has logged in for 8
hours, this accounts for a 100% TPI. If
this employee has logged in for 4 hours,
it accounts for a 50% TPI. If the employ-
ee has logged in for 12 hours then he
or she has a TPI of 150%. As a business
owner you can now decide how you
would take actions on this data.

Time Engine Snapshots Punch Logic
Every employee in ClockIt is bound by a
time template. A time template is noth-
ing but the weekly schedule of work for
an employee. ClockIt allows you to cre-
ate multiple templates for your organi-
zation. Each employee can be assigned
a time template and this becomes the
basis of calculations for his or her per-

ClockIt is compatible with more than 900 time and attendance devices available in the market
today. Chances are that your organisation already uses a device that is compatible with our soft-
ware. Our simple online tools will help you identify your device and get started within minutes.
If you do not currently have a device, you can place an online order for one on our ecommerce
store. We will ship out the device to you with all the necessary configuration. If you are already us-
ing any other software, you can try out ClockIt alongside your other software with 100% compat-

Access the admin settings and navigate to
the network settings. Setup the static IP on
the device, default gateway, DNS records and
save.

would need to configure your router to work with

Do I need a static IP?
