to integrate a fundamental concern with relationships
among people diverse in experience, history and
culture into the purpose, delivery and outcomes of
our University
 Not a merely ‘economic’ imperative
 Everyone must act

 How might a fundamental concern with
relationships among people diverse in experience,
history and culture influence which library services
are actually provided?
 … and how library services are provided?
 … and where library services are provided?
 Is it in the experiences of all students to know what
a ‘business library’ actually is?
 What might be the (spoken, written, visual)
languages used to communicate about library
services?
 … and to deliver services?
