2. First Ideas
My first idea for the concept of my music video is where the
girl has a crush on one of her close friends. They have been
friends for a very long time but she wants to be more than
just friends and is waiting for him to give her a chance
although. However she doesn’t know if he feels the same
way about her. In the video she would be dancing around
her room, watching videos of her and her crush having fun
on days out and texting him. One day while they’re at the
cinema he holds her hand and leans in for a kiss. As they
are about to kiss she suddenly she wakes up and realizes
their date to the cinema was only a dream.
3. Second Idea
My second idea for the narrative of my music video is
where a girl is in a fairly new relationship and is waiting
for her boyfriend to come home to her. He is out with
his friends drinking while she’s at home thinking about
him. Throughout the video she is having fun and
dancing in her room getting gussied up to see him. She
is also texting him and calling him persuading him to
hurry up and come home. The video cuts from her in
her room getting ready and him being with his friends
and then walking home to see her.
4. Third Idea
My third idea for my music video is where a girl’s
boyfriend is working away and she is missing him.
She’s looking at photos of them together reminiscing
and then it zooms into the picture and the music video
shows her memories of them. The music video will be
crosscutting between her in her room thinking off him
and him at work receiving calls from her. Although she’s
missing him she’s having fun dancing around thinking
about him coming home. There will also be lots of
editing making some parts abstract.
