5. ETHYLENE II Commissioning Engineer & Process Engineer January 2000 to June-2005
• Deal with the challenging task to Startup 760,000 Ton Ethylene unit on its initial startup with zero
incidents and injuries.
• Deal with the daily trouble shooting in the plant especially after the initial start up.
• Efficiency evaluation study of most of the equipments after the startup (i.e. major gas compressors, heat
exchangers, distillation towers…).
• Represent as project engineer at the 1st
expansion of the plant at 2005 to increase the plant capacity from
760,000 to 1,050,000 ton of ethylene annually production.
