In a data-intensive world, data-related knowledge and skills are becoming ever increasingly important, not just for researchers, but also for those who make up the human infrastructure that scaffolds research, such as academic librarians. This half-day workshop was an opportunity for library directors and managers to develop strategies for building a data-skilled library workforce. This presentation was part of the CAVAL/ANDS Workshop - Managing library teams for a research and data-intensive future (Melbourne, 28 July 2017).
