This article is to clarify and reflect on the role of business associations as representatives of companies such as transmitters of knowledge and what the uses of partnerships with higher education institutions are.
Through a survey of over a thousand companies in various business sectors and geographical areas we acquired essential information, particularly as to the importance attached by companies that had a vocational and academic training of its employees, and to what extent it influenced their professional performance, as well as with regard to the impact that these teachings had on their development, keeping them innovative and at the forefront of knowledge.
The Business Associations was being studied in relation to their needs and gaps in the training and services they provide. They were sounding about the usefulness of cooperation mechanisms and joint efforts through strategic partnerships , training and consulting, with higher education institutions in order to ensure transfer of knowledge with quality, together with the development and growth of associations and higher education institutions , maintaining trust , commitment and loyalty of associated companies and their employees, while students.
The results have demonstrated the mutual interest in establishing these alliances where business associations are the link between the parties. It was found that it was of fundamental importance for companies and their technical and senior leaders, to have access to properly structured and appropriate braining, preferably at the level of graduate education and postgraduate, as well as specific consulting services and seminars tailored for their business reality.
