2. It’s a farm of “Food tourism or Gastronomy Tourism “
Culinary means "related to cooking, relating to a kitchen, relating to Food“
Culinary activity : the activity of cooking, learning about a cuisine, making a
cuisine, presenting a cuisine, tasting a cuisine etc.
Culinary attraction : If any destination becomes popular because of Food, for the
Food, of the food, About the Food, the destination is called " Culinary attraction “
3. Every tourist eats out while traveling, and dining is one of the favorite activities
of travelers.
Due to growing Global affluence, changing demographics, emphasis on local
produce, increased multiculturalism, and media focus on food, culinary tourism has
become one of the fastest growing segments in the travel industry .
Popular TV programs, magazines, newspapers, apps, and even grocery stores are
promoting the idea of food as a motivator for travel experiences.

Hyderabad food is very delicious and one who tastes will never forget
the Hyderabadi dishes. Not only in India but Hyderabad food is very
popular all over the world for delicious dishes. To think of Hyderabad
is to recall its rich and incomparable cuisine, its wealth of
architecture, its refined traditions .
Telangana region and in particular, Hyderabad are known for their
unique cuisines. The city, which was once the capital for Marathis,
Kannadigas, Muslims and Telugus as well, represents a unique blend
of cuisines, beverages and eating habits

There are lot of Cuisine like Hyderabadi Biryani, Haleem, Pathar-ka-
Ghosht, Paya, Double-ka-Meetha, Khubani-ka-Meetha, Sheer Kurma etc.,
the city becomes popular to attract “culinary tourists” from all corners of the
world. "The city of Nawabs" is not only famous for delicious taste but also
projecting the Nawabi Royalty, tradition and culture.
Its traditional, multi cuisines makes Hyderabad heaven for "Food Lovers".
There is nothing to beat Hyderabadi Dishes, as a result Hyderabad turns in to
one of the “Culinary Attractions of the world”.

9. No occasion is required, no search is required, a mouth watering pleasant
odor attracts you every where, every corner of Hyderabad. a casual meeting
with a plate of delicious Biryani is quite common in Hyderabad restaurants.
In occasions, special events without Hyderabadi biryani the menu is
incomplete.
Origin :The dish of Nizams, Hyderabadi biryani originated after blending of
Mughlai and Iranian cuisine .
Consumption :Rice is a more of a staple (routine) food in South India, hence
the varieties of rice cuisines available here , Biryani has a special craze
among them, as a result around 7 lakh plates being consumed everyday.
10. Status :The craze for the dish continues and the rise in sales still constant even the
hike in 35% in price per plate. The dish still being the cheapest and tastiest one-
meal dish which does not need an accompaniment and is available across the city.
No other dish has taken its place as yet.
Fast food outlets selling pizzas, burgers and chicken dishes have failed to overtake
Biryani. They face a stiff competition from this easily digestible dish that can be
eaten daily, unlike fast food items.

12. ‘Hyderabadi Haleem’ is a high-calorie dish which provides protein from the
meat and fibre and carbohydrates from the various combinations of grains
and pulses.
Origin :It is originally an Arabic dish and was introduced to the Hyderabad
State by the Arab diaspora during the rule of the Nizams Local traditional
spices helped in evolving a unique Hyderabadi haleem that became popular
among the natives by the 19th-century.
It is available in the month of Ramzan for the Muslim devotees who
consumes after fasting.

14. This Dish is prepared with Mutton by Heating it on a Wide Stone,
on a Flame. The Spices are added once the Meat Pieces are heated
and served with Onions and other Ingredients. It is very famous in
South India and also a must to have dish in Most of the functions.

16. Paaya means feet in Hindi and Urdu.
Paya served at various festivals and treated to special guests and
people who get together.
The main ingredients of the dish are the trotters (or hoof) of a cow
or goat or sheep; cooked with various spices, which strengthens
bones.

18. Double ka meetha is a dessert of Hyderabad, served at weddings
and parties.
Double ka meetha refers to the milk bread, called "Double Roti"
in the local Indian dialects because it swells up to almost double
its original size after baking.
This dish can tasted everywhere in Hyderabad in the Sweet
shops and some restaurants.

20. Sheer Khurma is a dessert literally "milk with dates" in Urdu is a festival
vermicelli pudding prepared by Muslims in Ramzan .
It is a traditional Muslim festive breakfast, and a dessert for celebrations.
Sheer Khurma also know as “ SEMIA”
This special dish is served on the morning of Eid day in the family after the
Eid prayer as breakfast, and throughout the day to all the visiting guests
22. Qubani ka meetha is a dessert made from dried apricots. It is a common dish at
Hyderabadi weddings.
Qubani ka Meetha was a royal dessert in India for years because it wasn’t a native fruit,
then.
Apricots are extremely good for digestion because of their alkaline and fiber content. So,
after eating ungodly amount of delicious food, Qubani does your stomach a lot of good!

Culinary Professionals: Train & develop the Culinary professionals and promote the culinary tourism
across the central, state, city and village levels.
Subsidiaries and scholarships : Provide subsidiaries to the Culinary institutes, scholarships to the
students on merit basis.

Partnership : Destinations should partner with restaurants, culinary professionals, and
tour operators to create compelling products for food tourists.
