3. By 2025, at least 50% of learners through
the school and higher education system
shall have exposure to vocational education,
for which a clear action plan with targets
and timelines will be developed. This is in
alignment with Sustainable Development
Goal 4.4 and will help to realize the full
potential of India’s demographic dividend.
The development of vocational capacities
will go hand-in-hand with the development
of ‘academic’ or other capacities.

5. Avirata - 21st century in-service online
teacher development program
For secondary school teachers in India in regional language –
Launched in 2017 by (MSCERT) through Samagra Shiksha, RMSA
(Implementation & Knowledge Partner SAF)
6. 41607 secondary school
teachers and head teachers are
participants in this program
from 14786 Government and
Aided Secondary Schools in
Maharashtra.
The programme has 4 levels of
30 hours each and assignments.
“Diploma in vocational
guidance” from MSCERT on
completion of level 4.
