The HR Manager
Introduce eHRIS and its main features to HRMO and ITO in the Regional and Division Levels;
In this activity we would like to emphasize that it is the Human Resource Management Officers (HRMOs) also know to others as Personnel Officers are the owners or main users of this system . It is the
Develop, calibrate, and enhance the knowledge of participants on the usage and implementation of the eHRIS;
Strengthen linkages among the participants in providing technical and policy support related to the usage of and implementation of eHRIS;
The joint implementation of the Personnel Division and the User Support Division of the ICT Service of the eHRIS is a clear indication that both offices are need in this System.
Personnel Division as users /process owners and authority in the policies, rules and regulations as prescribed by Civil Service Commission and the Department of Education.
USD provides technical assistance to Central Office and provides user guides and video tutorial needed.
Automates core HR management functions and routine services;
Enhance HR systems and processes to support personnel in delivery of prompt, uninterrupted, efficient, and responsive services to its clients;
Single source of truth for HR information and organizational structure that will also include Personal Services Itemization Plantilla of Personnel (PSI-POP);
SSOT means that the personnel’s personal, employment and development data will only come form one source, eHRIS.
Results Based Performance Management System
Provides a solution for the planning, conducting and monitoring of performance assessment processes throughout the Agency
Automates the process of collecting, analyzing and/or reporting information regarding the performance of an individual, group or Agency as a whole
Talent Acquisition and DepEd Online Application System (OAS)
Provides a solution for the planning, conducting and monitoring of performance assessment processes throughout the Agency
It links up with the current Online Application System which provides the data for all new employees.
DepEd OAS is currently available online to the teacher-applicants in the Division Offices and to applicants in the Central Office.
Succession Planning Module
Is designed to enable the BHROD to identify and develop internal personnel with the potential to fill key critical positions within the Agency
Maintains data on the availability of experienced and capable personnel that are prepared to assume key positions as they become available.
Learning and Development Module
Provides a system to administer and track employee training and development intervention for personal development and professional growth
Allows HR to track education, qualifications and skills of the employees, as well as outlining what training courses, books, CDs, web-based learning or materials are available to develop specific skills or competencies
Provides data on the competencies of the incumbent and as required by the position as assessed
Development plan per employee is also available.

Step Increment
Loyalty
etc
Late Justification
Use Late Justification for the additional 15 minutes late incurred after the first 15 minutes grace period given daily of your work shift schedule.
For example, employee’s work shift is 8-5. If he timed in between 08:00-08:15, he is not considered late (this is the first 15 minute grace period). If he timed in between 08:16-8:30 (additional 15 minutes grace period,4x a month only), he will incur a minimum of 1 minute late and maximum of 15 minutes late.
DTR will display the number of minutes late after 08:15
Employee can use ‘Late Justification’
Can only be used 4x a month
System will display error if used on the 5th time
System reads only the ‘Date Range From’; hence, this type of Service Request is raise per day of tardiness incurred, not in range.
System will process only the date indicated on the ‘Date Range From’
Any late incurred after the 30 minutes grace period are already considered outright late and cannot be filed in a Service Request
Not applicable for 9-6 wokshift, as per the DepEd Memo
No Time Log
Use No Time Log for days when there is at least one blank in DTR time logs but the reason do not fit with other types of requests and provided he truly reported to work and is inside the DepEd Office. Examples might be, attended a meeting, forgot to time in/out
System reads only the ‘Date Range From’; hence, this type of Service Request is raise per day of when employee is out on official business, not in range.
System will process only the date indicated on the ‘Date Range From’
No Time Log cannot be used for absences
Locator Slip / Out on Official Business
Use Locator Slip for days with time deficiencies when employee goes out of DepEd Office on Official Business to attend / facilitate a meeting, workshop, training etc.
System reads only the ‘Date Range From’; hence, this type of Service Request is raise per day of when employee is out on official business, not in range.
System will process only the date indicated on the ‘Date Range From’
Travel Order
Use Travel Order when employee is on travel outside DepEd Office with Travel Authority
Can be filed in range
Different Kinds of Leave
Use which kind of leave is applicable to the date employee is filing for.
