Crucial elements to reach success, development and competitiveness are increasingly present in the day-to-day life of all companies. The new world of information technologies moves us towards change and innovation. It presents a new way of helping us to find efficient, different solutions for our businesses, with the help of information systems.
This study seeks to analyze all themes related to the change of integrated management systems (ERP) and other factors that influence the workers' motivation. Its' main goal is to attempt to prove whether that change can be positive and whether or not the workers show resistance to it. To verify these questions, a bibliographical, descriptive and empirical research was conducted (by testing hypothesis through trial and error), alongside a field research. That said analysis of the many phenomena was done through a small questionnaire to the workers of the company JP-ik, supported by a theoretical foundation.
It was proven that the majority of the workers showed resistance to the move towards the new ERP Microsoft Dynamics NAV, given the fact that they were already accustomed to working daily with the PHC system and had to relearn all processes related to their tasks, and that that move was generally considered positive. Although stating that their working motivation in nothing depended on the integrated management system change, it wasn't an easy transition, which, in the end, did affect the overall motivation of the workers.
