corridor, artificial lighting was used
through out the day.
 The width of the corridor = 1.2m

clubhouse from the complex.

well designed

the site at the side facing infinity
mall.
 This dense cover acts as a visual
barrier for the outsiders so that the
residents can have their privacy.

Mass Housing case study - Raheja Classique, Andheri

MASS HOUSING ARTIFICIAL LIGHTING RAHEJA CLASSIQUE BASEMENT LIGHTING  Distance between two light poles along the periphery is 8m.  This light is insufficient to illuminate the vicinity.  Distance between these wall mounted lights is 6m.   • 3. MASS HOUSING LANDSCAPE ANALYSIS RAHEJA CLASSIQUE There were hedges given along the pathways to direct the residents around the complex. Play areas were provided in form of small landscape pockets at the podium level, as there is no risk of vehicles.
  • 4. MASS HOUSING LANDSCAPE ANALYSIS RAHEJA CLASSIQUE  These green spaces enhances public interaction.  Also forming the breathing spaces for the complex.  Landscape is well designed as it hides the areas like the maintenance room.
  • 5. MASS HOUSING LANDSCAPE ANALYSIS RAHEJA CLASSIQUE  There are dense trees provided on the site at the side facing infinity mall.  This dense cover acts as a visual barrier for the outsiders so that the residents can have their privacy.
  • 6. MASS HOUSING DESIGN ASPECTS RAHEJA CLASSIQUE Slit Approx. 20mm wide & 1800mm long Wardrobe 2000mm high & 600mm deep MASTER BEDROOM IN 3.5 BHK FLAT  This slit faces north and south direction. Thus it invites light into the master bedroom.  But it has also become a housing space for the pigeons.  Also it being the external façade, water leakage problem is observed in the wardrobe.

MASS HOUSING DESIGN ASPECTS RAHEJA CLASSIQUE  Distance of ramp from the building face is 20m.  Distance between the tennis court and building face is 8.5m.  Width of the ramp is 9m. 1000mm 300mm TENNIS COURT DRAINAGE PIPES The court is 300mm high than the podium level to have better drainage of water.
  • 9. N KEY PLAN BASEMENT PLAN N  Total 96 flats in bldg. No. 5 &7 each  Parking provided 158 per basement floor. Total parking 474.  2 parking space for each flat.  Provision also given for guest parking.  Floor to floor ht. of basement is 4m.  Width of the ramp running through the UB,LB, Gr. Is 9m. PARKING PROVISIONS (The Classique Club can handle parking for 200 cars at a time )
