4 trillion cubic metres of granite. India houses over 100
varieties of granite, making the stone available in different
colours and textures, with 60 out of that 100 being

growing by leaps and bounds so much so that India today stands

AREA OF WORKING
• Making of the purchase order- detailed bill sent to buyer
consisting the quantity and price and No of Boxes and other
details.
• Client handling- taking the orders from clients through mails or
over phone and negotiating deal with them.
• Cold calling to existing clients.
• Ensuring the quality of production process.
• Drafting the mails regarding the business transactions.
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES
STRENGTHS:-
1. Good reputation in the market.
2. The company has excellent distribution system
3. The company has built a strong image among the customers
4. New specialized types of machines & utilizing German technology.
WEAKNESSES
1 Price of product is slightly high that affects the demand.
2. Low labour productivity.
3. Demand exceeds the Production Capacity.
LEARNINGS FROM INTERNSHIP
These are some of the things that I have learnt while working at SSSOR.
• I learned after my experience in this firm is importance of time management and being self-motivated.
• The working environment enables collaboration and effective team-work.
• I have not only learned from the members of my unit, but from all the people who works in different departments.
• This experience has made me grow both professionally and personally.
• I also learnt the expertise or skills required to complete tasks in the field.
• I have learnt the various ways of customer handling in all aspects and improvement in public relations and communication
skills.
CONCLUSION
There is a lot of scope in the field of Granite industry as a career path and through the internship I gained a lot of knowledge
