Join us this winter as we invite you and your guests to an evening
that promises wonderful entertainment, delicious food and
enticing mystery to make your December event that bit special.
Kent House Knightsbridge will be dressed as a 1940’s stately
home breaking off the shackles of war time England and
delivering much needed glitz and glamour to its guests.
The Marble Hall and Rutland Room will be
up lit in gold and amber with mirrored plinths leading the way
to the Plum bar. The main fireplace will be adorned with large
church candles and its mantelpiece will be dressed with
beautiful white and purple orchids and candle tea lights.
On arrival your guests will be met by Miss Scarlett and characters
from her house staff mixed in amongst our professional event waiting
and bar team. Coats will be taken in the Library and Champagne
will be flowing in the Marble Hall. There will also be a traditional
champagne fountain as a centre piece to the bar. The characters will
interact with guests creating comical moments and drawing them
into the evening’s theme whilst a pianist plays in the background.

to remember.
Sure enough the night would be unforgettablebut little could Miss Scarlett have known theproceedings that were about to be unveiled…

The Grand Staircase with its gorgeous red carpet will be lit
by giant storm lanterns and up lit in purples and reds with a break
out wash in the shape of question marks on the roof. Once the head
butler has called dinner suitable dramatic piped classical music will be
interspersed with the sound of thunder and lightning creating a slight
fun edginess to the ascent to dinner.
Dinner itself will be provided by the award winning Zafferano Caterers
and will be a traditional British menu befitting of the occasion. The
tables will be dressed in lime green cloths and purple napkins in silver
napkin rings and will be decked with stunning silver candelabra. The
tables can either be traditional rounds or banquet style for that true
grand feel with lime washed banqueting chairs.
During dinner itself there will be surprise interactive visits to the
Sanctuary by members of the household leaving guests with the
fun feeling of not being quite sure of what they have just seen or heard.
Alternatively we can facilitate a full blown interactive murder mystery
show to the occasion.
After dinner the lights will go out for a split second and a gunshot
and scream will be heard. Miss Scarlett will then reassure guests
and curtains will unveil the route through to Peacock’s Lounge
where a stunning blue and ornate upholstered bar will continue serving
drinks and guests can dance the night away with music provided by our
crowd pleasing DJ.
The night promises other little touches that we can’t unveil now
lest give the show away. The level of interactivity and mystery will also
be bespoke to your party so you can be sure that your guests will leave,
even if one short, having had a Christmas Party to truly remember.
