Content marketing includes the creation, publication and distribution of content.
First…
Sounds simple… but it requires research.
Now we’re going to look at short tail and long tail keywords to identify where we can make potential gains and to help us create a plan.
SEED keywords – These are shorttail terms that your website should rank for – top level terms
Related - additional keywords based from the seed keywords that make good sub-topics. They're useful for uncovering less ‘obvious’ keywords.
Search Suggestions are additional keywords that people also search for. These are mainly taken from the "Searches Related to" section in Google using the seed keywords.
Phrase match keywords are all searches in Google UK that contain one of the seed keywords set at the start with their monthly search volume.

Getting brand search terms is like gold dust. You are your brand.
Next we tend to also create a list of competitor content that’s performing well in terms of where it's positioned in search and content that has lots of links.
This may be pages, and new site sections we need to consider, blogs, guides, case studies etc.
Then we can start putting this all together.
We must include a variety of elements as explained at the beginning. Content marketing includes the creation, publication and distribution of content.
Include on page and off page.
