On 1st March 2021, CM Bhupesh baghel presented the budget for the state of Chhattisgarh. There are many schemes related to agriculture, education, health that lead Chhattisgarh to grow in the best possible way. For the first time, any state will present a separate budget for the child. The youth are having many expectations, that the CM will talk about the employment opportunity in the budget but again no such mention of employment. No provisions for tax.

4. ECONOMIC GROWTH
According to a rapid estimate, the State's GDP will rise 5.12 percent in 2019-20
at constant rates, compared to 5.32 percent (projected initially).

23 percent for the general service sector.
6. Holistic development
The government said this budget is for every people of the state from
economically weaker to middle class, womens and children, education
development. It creates the new employment opportunities and
entrepreneurship for the youth.

The pride of local festivals like Hareli, Teeja-Pora, Gaura-Gauri,
Matar, and Govardhan Pooja, which were on the verge of
extinction, has been restored by reviving them as public
events.
7. A 'Bastar Tigers' special force will be established in all districts of
the Bastar division.
Local youths from the inner villages being given priority in
recruitment, information about the inner area and forest will be
given to these youths, and the police force will be able to use it
during the anti-Naxal drive.
2800 persons will be recruited and an expenditure of Rs 92 crore
is expected on this.
8. To increase the scope of Rajiv Kisan Nyay Yojana beyond the land-
owning farmers and to help the rural agricultural landless laborers,
a new "Nyay Yojana" will be started.
To encourage fish farming in the state, steps will be taken to
elevate it to the same level as agriculture.
A provision of Rs 171 crore 20 lakh has been made for fisheries
activities in the budget for 2021-22.

9. To improve the nutrition of women, the state will give a lump sum of
Rs 5000 on the birth of the second child girl.
For this, the new Kaushalya Maternity Scheme will be launched.

An ashram cum rehabilitation center will be set up for the
rehabilitation of third gender persons.
For this, a provision of Rs 76 lakh has been kept in the budget and this
will be the first center of its kind in the country.

A 'C-Mart' store will be set up to make Chhattisgarhi arts, crafts, forest produce,
agriculture and all other types of products and cuisines available under one roof.
To provide all Chhattisgarhi items under one roof, C-Mart stores will be
developed both inside and outside the state.
The scheme will also be enhanced to provide further dividends to local farmers.

The Chhattisgarh Road and Infrastructure Development Corporation will build
3,900 kilometres of roads and bridges at a cost of Rs 5,225 crore. A provision of
150 crores has been made to the corporation for this.
A road safety construction scheme has been launched in order to reduce
the loss of life and property caused by car accidents.
Provision of Rs 236 crore has been made for expansion of electronics
and information technology services.
