SCOTCH WHISKY COCKTAILS
Whisky cocktail recipes go way back when, to the time newly arrived
cargos of oranges & pineapples first landed at the Glasgow docks
and the locals would mix these exotic fruits with their Scotch Whisky.
Whisky cocktails also have their roots in the days of the Gentlemen,
Officers, Sports & Country Clubs and Roaring Twenties jazz clubs.
Amber Glen Blended Scotch Whisky cocktails are beautifully & expertly
crafted to feast the eyes, senses and palate.
Here are a few of our favourite Amber Glen Scotch Whisky Cocktails.
Choose the right glassware to enhance the enjoyment of your cocktail drink.
Measure the exact amount of ingredients to create great tasting
cocktails, consistently.
Choose fresh ingredients to add flavour, balance and to garnish
the presentation of the cocktail as it was designed to be.
Use filtered or bottled water for fewer impurities.
Chill the glass tumbler before pouring in the cocktail to keep the drink
colder for longer.
When using crushed or cracked ice, strain out the excess liquid water
first, before carefully pouring in the cocktail ingredients so that it
soaks through the ice.
Many whisky cocktails are stirred because shaking is said to "bruise"
the spirit. Shake cocktails when they include fruit juices, cream
liqueurs, simple syrup or any other thick mixers.
MIXOLOGIST’S GUIDE
