Key Responsibility Areas
• Timely and Accurate completion of monthly financial close of all European non trading
companies and EHQ cost management company as per US GAAP using SAP and Hyperion
• Responsible for monthly and yearly analysis of EBITDA, Adj. Net Income and Free Cash
Flow against Forecast, Budget and Prior Year.
• Supervision of European Financial Analyst and Finance manager on daily basis.
• Monthly power point presentations to EU Business Performance team on Consolidated cash

• Intercompany In house bank reconciliation investigated and found £10million going back two
years
• Created the new Inter-company IHB reconciliation process in excel along with the how to
guide and successfully taught and transferred the process over to team in India
• Successfully removed the old inter-company IHB process and implemented my new
reconciliation process
• Completed analysis of company cars and car lease accounts (fixed errors worth £3million)
and implementing a process to ensure items get booked to the correct place

Key Responsibility Areas
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management and year-end accounts along with other
accountants.
• Responsible for calculating the revenue from white label 888 customers and post an accrual
• Calculating and posting the revenue, commission, fee etc. for Tote Pool, UK horseracing
pools product and Mkodo on monthly basis.
• Responsible for monthly overheads analysis and investigate the variances compare to
budget and provide a summary to Finance Director
• Reconciliations of all current accounts and all foreign denominated customer bank accounts
• Maintain the fixed asset register; responsible for creating and assigning new fixed asset
codes and monthly depreciation journals; Responsible for calculating and sending monthly
CAPEX Report to Head of Finance and other Directors of the company.
• Responsible for monthly reconciliation of inter-company balances with Rank Group Gaming,
Grosvenor Casinos, Rank Group Finance and other companies.
• Calculate affiliate variable costs and post an accrual via Netrefer system

Plum is a leading premium baby food brand. It has pioneered the premiumisation of the baby food
sector; having witnessed dramatic year on year growth it was recently acquired by Darwin Private
Equity and recorded the turnover of approx. £10million
Key Responsibility Areas and Achievements
• Supervising the operational finance function of the business, including up to 2 junior
members of the finance team.
• Preparing detailed management accounts on monthly basis, down to product profitability
along with commentary and explaining cost drivers; reporting on a monthly basis to PE
investors and CEO/CFO.
• Assisted Financial Controller in the successful implementation of SAP Business One ERP
system and GXS (EDI Invoicing System) on time and on budget. SAP superseded 2 previous
systems (Sage & Charisma).
• Supported Financial Controller in 2010 year end audit process (including preparation of audit
file in line with auditors’ requirements, and worked with auditors to provide backup and
explanations as requested)
• Managing Fixed asset register, Intercompany account, Payroll and Pension payments on
monthly basis
• Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns and monthly Intrastat returns
• Supported in the in sourcing of the back office finance function to coincide with
implementation of SAP, including defining new business processes for the finance
department.
• Preparation of financial forecasts for approval by the board, updated quarterly.
• Preparing daily sales reports and weekly cash flow forecasts along with detailed projection of
cash receipts per customer
• Monthly meetings with Marketing Director to review the actual cost against core and NPD
budget
• Working with Financial Controller on key strategic finance decisions, e.g. FX hedging strategy,
invoice discounting/working capital management, marketing budgets etc…
• Management of the IT function.
• Being one of the key point of contact within the business for a number of key relationships,
including relationships with; Barclays Bank (the company’s Bankers), PwC (external auditors
and tax advisers), Insurance broker, IT service providers, in addition to trade suppliers and
customers

and submit along with Corporate Tax Return

• Completing weekly and monthly Bank Reconciliations on SUN and Exchequer software.

Financial Controller.
• Investigating complex corporate tax calculations and ensuring business is complying with

Achievements
• It recently came to light that the balance held in deferred revenue was not equal to the
proposed releases over future periods. I was tasked with compiling a report that would
identify invoices not releasing the correct amount in the future. Overall I discovered
£250,000 of errors on a current balance of £5.25 million.
• Got trained by Group Financial Controller to understand and prepare 3rd Party Revenue,
NPD Journals and KPI Collation Reports.
• I assisted Finance manager in creating new group sales commissions’ sheet, which
calculates individual’s commission on monthly and accumulated basis and will also flag
over and under payment of commission to sales agents.
• I created the spreadsheet showing the correct way of releasing revenue and cost per
period for new business. This report was highly praised by finance manager and group
financial controller.
Tax Consultant

Liaising with Accountants and Tax Managers to solve complex tax issues as well as
guiding them about the tax rules and regulations for UK residents and Non-residents.
• Involved in setting up test cases and help guides on personal tax, corporate tax and non-
residence legislations.
