  How important is the integration of social media to the Grooveshark site? Social media is incredibly important. Users can broadcast a song to twitter and facebook with the click of a button,which not only enables the songs to be exposed to a larger audience, but also exposes grooveshark to that same audience. Our own social media presence is integral in establishing our company's voice and dealing with customer feedback in a timely fashion.   Is Grooveshark is going to start dialogue between users and artists in order to make it more social? Absolutely. We want the conversation between artist and fan to hinge on what brought that fan there in the first place...the music. We will be creating a messaging system in the future.   What are the key differentiators that make Grooveshark different from Pandora, Spotify, Turntable.fm, etc.? There are quite a few. Location is the biggest as we are in every country in the world. We don't have audio ads and we are a web based application rather than a downloadable desktop app (although we have that for paid subscribers). We also allocate a substantial amount of inventory for artist promotions. Plus, we are broke and they aren't. KIDDING on that last one.   How do you feel that Grooveshark is able to expand the user’s experience of music? By giving them choice and limiting obstacles and clicks so they can have an unadulterated listening experience.

Our own social media presence is integral in establishing our company's voice and dealing with customer feedback in a timely fashion.   Is Grooveshark is going to start dialogue between users and artists in order to make it more social? Absolutely. We want the conversation between artist and fan to hinge on what brought that fan there in the first place...the music. We will be creating a messaging system in the future.   What are the key differentiators that make Grooveshark different from Pandora, Spotify, Turntable.fm, etc.? There are quite a few. Location is the biggest as we are in every country in the world. We don't have audio ads and we are a web based application rather than a downloadable desktop app (although we have that for paid subscribers). We also allocate a substantial amount of inventory for artist promotions. Plus, we are broke and they aren't. KIDDING on that last one.   How do you feel that Grooveshark is able to expand the user’s experience of music? By giving them choice and limiting obstacles and clicks so they can have an unadulterated listening experience.
