Solutions that are Environmentally Friendly
Reduced chemical use. Etched
aluminum inlays are made by
chemically etching aluminum-coated
PET to remove unwanted metal
from the PET. While some portion of
the aluminum can be recycled, the
chemicals used can be caustic. Our
inlays are not etched, reducing overall
chemical use.
Reduced material use. CustomWave
products are made using either no
inlays or paper-based inlays, both
of which result in final smart labels
that are thinner than smart labels
using PET-based inlays. As a result,
CustomWave products can be
shipped with more labels per roll,
decreasing the use of cores, roll
wrap, cartons, shipping labels, and
other packaging-related materials.
Antennas that are printed on paper
inlays — or directly onto labels —
eliminating plastic inlay substrates and
keeping plastic out of the final product.
Reduced fuel use by consolidating
