well crafted
images
Quality images are an essential
element of any marketing
campaign. People are drawn to
images more than they are to
links or text. Images improve
levels of engagement, for
example:
• press releases receive
45% greater views if they
contain images
• articles containing relevant
images have 94% more
total views that those
without.
High quality images are an
opportunity to set the tone
of your engagement with an
audience. They offer a strong
foundation upon which to build
your company’s visual identity
and brand. Your collection of
images should reflect the
quality of your company
not detract from it.

CSR
“Community
engagement
in focus”
Resources Illustrated
is acutely aware of the
importance of effectively
communicating our clients’
positive local engagement to
both stakeholders and the market.
But we don’t think this has to be
done with the same old photos.
Whether it is highlighting initiatives
with indigenous groups, case studies
on local job creation or dealing with
the challenges of a modern mining
career, we provide creative and
intriguing images that focus on the
human element of these efforts.
At Resources Illustrated we take
pride in our own CSR commitments
and are currently providing pro-
bono photographic services to OIS
Cambodia to assist their vital, yet
unglamorous, speech pathology
work in Cambodia.

We use a variety of techniques to
capture all elements of operational
performance.
Aerial drone photos and video, for
example, can track the progress
of rehabilitation and also provide
contextual insights in a cost
effective and unobtrusive way.
Similarly, timelapse can be used to
track project builds or AO initiatives
such as truck optimisation.

We help clients capture their
individuality in an image bank for
later use on:
• web pages,
• brochures,
• internal communications, and
newsletters.
In addition to images of equipment,
we can provide portraits (both
environmental and corporate) as well
as images created for specific staff
campaigns such as those that appear
in our series; “A day in the life of a
