By 2020 Allerton Grange to a beacon of Aspirational
Inclusion where:
• Excellent teaching transforms lives.
• All stakeholders experience success regardless of ability or

Did you know??
At Allerton Grange …….
• We are full in every year group and have a waiting list
for Year 7.
• We have a student care team of 26 non-teaching, full time
professionals who are available from 8.15-4.15.
• We encourage all students to learn a musical instrument and
instrumental lessons are subsidised by 60%!!
• We deliver a whole school theatrical production every term.
• 25% of all students are in the school leadership programme after
its first year.
• More able students perform just as well or better than other local
schools. (see for yourself)

This chart shows that the proportion of Year 7 students currently making expected
progress in Maths and English is significantly above the National Average. Furthermore,
nearly half of students in Year 7 are making progress above that expected of them in
Maths and English.

The vision for Allerton Grange: By 2020 Allerton Grange to a beacon of Aspirational Inclusion where: • Excellent teaching transforms lives. • All stakeholders experience success regardless of ability or background. • All stakeholders have pride in their school. • Our local community see Allerton Grange as the school of first choice.

School Development Plan 1 (2015-16) Raised expectations and challenged underperformance: • New behaviour policy. • New rewards policy. • New uniform. • Relentless monitoring of teaching. • New curriculum (KS3 and 4) • Parental engagement. • Staff training. • Student leadership.

  • 7. Aspire, Grow, Succeed. What do our parents think - Jan. 2016? 92% - their child is safe. 89% - their child is well looked after. 88% - child is happy. 82% - deal effectively with bullying. 76% - making good progress. 78% - school is well led.

  • 9. Did you know?? At Allerton Grange ……. • We are full in every year group and have a waiting list for Year 7. • We have a student care team of 26 non-teaching, full time professionals who are available from 8.15-4.15. • We encourage all students to learn a musical instrument and instrumental lessons are subsidised by 60%!! • We deliver a whole school theatrical production every term. • 25% of all students are in the school leadership programme after its first year. • More able students perform just as well or better than other local schools. (School Development Plan 2016-17) • Secure better than expected progress for all groups of students. • Further improve the quality of teaching. • Improve communication with parents. • Develop a more user friendly reporting system. • Improve the frequency and application of homework. • Even greater parental engagement. • Promote Allerton Grange more effectively within the local community.

Furthermore, nearly half of students in Year 7 are making progress above that expected of them in Maths and English.
