1. I have been volunteering with various Veterans Organizations for the past 7 years. Recently
I volunteered at a Habitat House Build for a disabled veteran in Indianapolis through an
organization “The Mission Continues.” One reason I love working with and for veterans is
the opportunity to be a supportive ear, listen to their stories, and assist them as I can. I
enjoy the connection and the shared stories that come from the experiences. I formed some
relationships resulting in expanding my networking base.
My real strength is attention to detail. I am committed to ensuring I follow through and
meet deadlines. My commitment to a task means I make sure it gets done on time.
I am looking to work with Veterans and their families to have a positive impact on their
obtaining benefits they earned and are due.
