Lamprell’s Shields for Life
Lamprell recently rebranded and relaunched its ‘minimum
HSES standards for high-risk activities’ programme. The new
programme, now known as “Shields for Life”, consists of ten
themes that focus on high risk activities which our workers
face daily in our operations and which could potentially have
life-threatening consequences if adequate precautions are not
in place and managed. Lamprell is serious about keeping its
workforce safe. Non-compliance with these principles can result
in serious injuries or worse, and we continue to empower our
workforce to intervene and report to ensure adherence to this
new initiative.
Health, Safety, Environment
& Security (HSES)
At Lamprell, we plan for success! On an annual basis, we set
strategic objectives, key performance indicators and key
deliverables in the area of HSES. We strive to deliver world
class HSES performance based on a culture of openness,
teamwork and sharing, with our activities focused on proactive
improvements. The health and safety of everyone who works
for us is critical to the success of our business. It is our shared
belief that all incidents are preventable, injuries should not
occur and everyone should go home safely. Lamprell is
accredited to OHSAS18001 Occupational Health and Safety
Management System.
Lamprell recognises that the very nature of our business activities
will have an impact on the environment, directly through the
conduct of our operations and indirectly through the products
and services we provide to our customers. Protection of our
environment is one of the cornerstones of our operating
philosophy and our policy is to strive to achieve continual
improvement in environmental performance. Our ISO14001
