Client – Tenet Healthcare,
Time Period – Since March 2013 – August 2014
• Perform Incident Trending, Change Reviews, and Problem Management.
• Develop root cause analysis process to get beyond symptoms of mission critical
service interruptions.
• Identify underlying source of problems, recommend and implement solutions
approved by CAB.
• Perform Risk Analysis and develop solutions to prevent and mitigate risks during
various phases of the Project Lifecycle.
• Project initiation & end to end support till application go live.
• Analyzing hardware/software requirements of applications during kick off meetings
and creating appropriate environment / resources, performance monitoring and other
maintenance / support during different phases and environments of applications.
• Configuring and troubleshooting Application Servers like Microsoft IIS 6.0/7.0, File
and Printer Servers, FTP.
• Responsible for managing the IIS and SQL Clustered servers. Our day to day function
includes everything from documentation, configuring backups, and monitoring,
troubleshooting hardware or software issues, deploying patches.
• Handling of VMWare 5.0 and 4.1 through Vcenter for Disk expansion, VM Tool
upgrade, Adding memory and CPU and performing daily checks.
• Server builds and provisioning of new servers including deploying through VM
templates and clones and P2V Migrations.
• Phase-Out / Migration of Windows Server 2000 systems to Windows 2003/2008
including the Application migration and post migration support. Remediation of
windows infrastructure. Day to day application/OS support for critical Organization
wide applications.
Client – UBS, Singapore (On site)
Time Period - October 2010 – February 2013
• Designated as C&I Team member and responsible to manage various project under
Windows Service Delivery Team for UBS all business divisions (IB, Global AM and
WM).
• Service Transition: Was part of the transition team to transition Windows Service
Delivery tasks from US and UK region for the business division of Global Asset
Management in UBS.
• Data Center Migration: Co-managed the data center migration program in Chicago
for 400+ Wintel servers. Successfully completed the project and moved the servers
within datacenter and and remote datacenters in Stamford and Bluestone.
• Network Isolation Test (Business Continuity Planning for Toronto Location): This
drill was performed to confirm the business continuity in different location (within
Toronto) in case of any disaster to current DC location.
• Datacenter Maintenance Activity: This activity was to power down and power up
the whole data center for any maintenance work which included planning and
coordination with different team to sequentially power down/up the servers
(application, database, antivirus, storage devices, etc) in more efficient and timely
manner.
• Provide technical advice to colleagues and L2 team to facilitate informed decision-
making and resolve problems.
• Document technical issues and create SOP’s, share information with the team and
organize KT as and when required.
• Maintain latest patch levels as specified by engineering team. Coordinate bimonthly
patching activity for all Wintel Servers with various business divisions, development
and application teams.
• Ensure all changes deployed are subject to the agreed change management process
and have been fully tested in UAT to minimize risk and impact to the production
environment.
• Responsible to initiate various projects for operational or technical improvements.
Liaising with business aligned service delivery leads to know the business project
requirement, initiate the project plan and engage SD team members to achieve the
targets.
• Managing Server builds, Server upgrades using UBS in house tool iSAC.
• Actively planned, coordinated and implemented Storage Migration project for 20 Odd
Production SQL Clusters for Global Asset Management business division.
• Was part of the File Server Migration project from Windows to NAS
• Ensure all changes deployed are subject to the agreed change management process
and have been fully tested in UAT to minimize risk and impact to the production
environment.
