line sleepers, construction of 11km length pipe line Right Of Way and 5 km
asphalt roads in and around the plants.

storage tanks (14m diameter tank – 1No, 59.1m diameter tank – 2Nos &

around the tanks (almost 2 km), construction of access roads of 6.7m wide
around the tanks which is of 2km length, construction of substation building
550sq.m floor area, lining concretes at places of earth filling, construction of
oil interceptor chamber, drainage works including installation of RCC ring
drains, oily water sewer lines and oil interceptor chambers, man holes, earth
work excavation up to 3m depth in severe H2S and water table conditions,

Title : Design and construction of Tawi Atair – Gabal Samhan – Kahf
Taiq Road
Client : Governorate of Dhofar
Duration : November 2004 to July 2006
Position : Site Engineer
The project mainly dealt with the design and construction of Tawi Atair -
Gabal Samhan – Kahf Taiq Road which is a major tourist attraction in Salalah.
The road was constructed as a part of enhancement to the tourism. Road to
be constructed was divided into three sections namely road A, road B, road C
comprising a total length of 35.800 km. The project also involved with the
construction of box culverts (15 nos) and pipe culverts (9 nos), parking areas,
deep excavation including rock cutting (hill) since the road was constructed in
a hilly terrain. There was embankment filling including rock filling, sub grade
construction (2 layers), granular sub base and asphalting.

The project handled full fledges supervision, quality control, quality
assurance & technical audit of Quilandy-Thamarassery road which is of a
length of 30 km. The work mainly comprises of providing bituminous
macadam and profile corrective course to bring the road to uniform
camber and the wearing course comprises mainly Mix seal surfacing.
(2) Title : Reconnaissance survey and feasibility study of various
corridors in
Gujarat and planning programme and rehabilitation of
earth quake affected roads in Gujarat
Client : State Road Development Corporation, Government of
Gujarat
Duration : March 2001 to April 2002
Position : Junior Engineer (Highways)
During this period various projects had been carried out such as survey
works of Sarkhej-Veeramgam road, Mehsana-Palanpur road, Rajkot-
Jamnagar road, surveys for the feasibility study of Vadodara-Padrs-
Jambusar road (88.600Km), and survey works of earthquake affected
roads in Gujarat. Various traffic surveys such as origin destination survey,
speed and delay survey, traffic volume count for Anjar town planning
project. Also worked in the planning programme of Pradhan Mantri Gram
Sadak Yogna which mainly comprises of up gradation of earthen roads in
Gujarat State. Besides, bidding was also performed during this tenure.
