All rights reserved. agilegurugram.com 7 WHAT ARE OKRS? – OKR FORMULA ✓ OKRs are typically written in two parts – “Objective” followed by few supporting “Key Results”, usually 3 to 5 Key Results ✓ Objective: are simply what is to be achieved. They are important, action-oriented, concrete and sometimes inspirational ✓ Key Results: are benchmarks and it tracks how to get to the Objectives. Effective Key Results are precise and time-bound. Most importantly, they are measurable and verifiable. OKR FORMULA

All rights reserved. agilegurugram.com 13 AGILE AND OKRs COMBINED AGILE + OKRS = Sweet spot of strategic success and operational efficiency Business team – (like Product Manager, Business Owner, etc) ✓ OKRs represent the Key Results that Business team aims to achieve and set up the direction for completing org’s or product’s vision IT / Software Delivery team – (like Delivery Manager, Technical Team, Program/Project Manager, etc) ✓ Agile management process by Software Delivery team does regular evaluation of IT deliverables and makes changes to the Objectives based on the product’s scope as defined by Business.

All rights reserved. agilegurugram.com 14 AGILE AND OKRs COMBINED Blending of OKRs and Agile is about taking a successful process (Agile) and making it even more outcome-driven & business oriented (OKRs) Alignment with specific goals – ✓ While Agile aligns the work process, OKRs assist in sharing and achieving the team’s goals ✓ OKR framework takes it a step further by bringing the goals to the attention of all teammates and achieving complete alignment through transparency Goal setting and evaluation – ✓ Agile mindset aims to deliver working products by regular iterations and work towards efficiency ✓ OKRs take the same approach but for objectives. OKR enables agility in goal setting and timely evaluation by generating more strategic results and leaving room for iterations in an Agile environment

OUR SOLUTION Successfully introduced OKR based Business metrics mapped to Features/Epics and with user-stories mapped to the Key Results. Also gave the framework for Agile + OKR template to keep Monthly and Quarterly goal tracking and track the improvements.
