Job Description
Summary:
A Paid Media Strategist is responsible for analyzing and communicating in-depth business marketing data
for online SEM advertising campaigns. This individual will monitor key findings from reports and data
analyses on a regular basis to make informed business decisions and identify opportunities to improve
online campaign performance based on client goals, objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs). A
critical element of this role is to improve online presence for the clients assigned to your portfolio, and
deliver reporting on a monthly basis. A high degree of energy, commitment, detail, initiative and
enthusiasm is required along with a thirst for knowledge in the internet marketing arena. The ability to
organize, prioritize and meet deadlines is essential as is the ability to find hidden opportunities through
consistent testing and research. Strong oral and written communication skills are required, including the
ability to clearly and effectively communicate and present analysis findings and recommendations for
client marketing strategies.

Responsibilities:
Ø
Manage multiple accounts and work across key members internally to produce campaigns and
client deliverables
Ø
Monitor all activity on accounts, performing data validation to ensure activity is within budget
guidelines and accurate
Ø
Provide analysis and develop strategic plans based on client customer profiles
Ø
Develop client’s strategy and additional quotations based on analytics insights and client
opportunities
Ø
Have a strong understanding of SEO/SEM implications related to online content generation
Ø
Deploy, monitor and manage paid media (SEM/Social PPC) campaigns
Ø
Track solutions for PPC accounts and analyze, prepare and communicate knowledge to clients
Ø
Utilize proprietary tools to monitor clients online presence
Ø
Meet face to face with clients on a regular basis as needed
Ø
Assist Director of Digital Media as necessary
Key Design and Web Technology Knowledge:

Experience with campaign management software, database querying tools, languages and
analytical platforms
Knowledge of the online business marketing principals (Impressions, Clicks, Conversions, Return
on Investment (ROI), Cost Per Acquisition (CPA)
Exceptional Excel skills (formulas, filtering, pivot tables, trending charts, macros etc.)
Acquisio PPC Management Platform
Google Adwords, Bing/Yahoo Paid Search, Facebook Paid Search content and display
Reverse proxy technology, tracking scripts and codes, etc.
Ad Copy-writing, New Keyword Development and Testing

Continuing Paid Media Education
Experience in major blogging platforms and how to work within that environment
Social technologies and management platforms (ie. Hootsuite, etc.)
Public Relations monitoring and management platforms (ie. Cision, PR Web, etc.)
Google Analytics and various other web analytics
Qualifications:
Minimum bachelor’s degree in business (i.e. Computer Science, Information Technology,
Software Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Journalism, etc.)
Ø Minimum of two year in an analytical/statistics focused position related to online marketing and/
or minimum two years paid search experience.
