1. Forum of young ambasadeurs from the americas 2010 EDITION “ LES CHEMINS DE NOS AMÉRIQUES” ADRIANA FUENTES

2. The Forum of Young Ambassadors from the Americas is an extraordinary event that gathers around 60 young people from the American continents and the Caribbean every year, since its first edition in 2009. Participants are chosen because of their interest in promoting the French language and the francophone culture among their communities. It is an unique opportunity to discover the different sides of the francophonie and share experiences and common projects with people from different countries. Being myself one of the ambassadors of the 2010 Forum, I can tell you this was a life changing experience, not only I got to travel to a wonderful country and meet wonderful people, but to discover this great and supportive francophone and Francophile community.

5. CONCLUSION Finally we assisted to an engagement ceremony, in which we committed to continue the promotion of the francophonie and the French language in our community and work in common projects with the other ambassadors. Being part of this Forum, and earning the title of ambassador of the francophonie showed me how much one can achieve with dedication and cooperation and good will, this time it was me who took the chance and participated in this competition to be part of the Forum, and believe what I say, that is the only thing it takes, to dare.
