2. INTRODUCTION
A truss in architecture is a structural system composed
of interconnected triangular units. It consists of straight
members, called members or elements, which are
connected at joints or nodes. The triangular shape of the
truss provides inherent stability and strength, allowing it
to efficiently distribute loads and resist forces such as
compression, tension, and bending.
