WORK EXPERIENCE
Works Operations Manager – AshakaCem 2012 to Date
Together with Plant Manager define the set priorities of the Plant for each year.
Prepare budget in conjunction with the Plant team, Monitors the budget
compliance and challenge undue request out of budget.
Conduct appraisals and set KPI’s for the team aligning with organizational goal.
Review Plant organization as required, define training needs through the PTA
process, define and implement succession Plans. Monitors and follow up with
daily operational needs.
Drive team towards performance initiatives, provides leadership to the plant
team on safety compliance. Proposes and implement reward on good
performance and sanctions on non performance.
Organize monthly meetings to share with team on performance and cascade
focus for the coming months.
Presently driving the team on change Management initiatives, aimed at
changing mindset to improve adopting best practices that will result to
increase in general plant performance.
Validate approval of spares through tender process; lead the tender team on
procurement less than 3 Million naira.
Oversees the Plant in the absent of the Plant Manager.

2. Maintenance Manager, AshakaCem Plc. 2008- 2012
Prepares budget for the Maintenance section, spread the budget on monthly
basis and monitors compliance.
Conduct appraisals for the maintenance team, set KPi’s for the maintenance
section.
Drive initiatives to improve equipment reliability and performance.
Monitors spares inventory levels and shares with team inventory levels.
Review the Maintenance KPI’s on monthly basis with the maintenance team.
Promoted team work among different section of the maintenance team and
promoted the conduct of weekly maintenance planning meeting.
I promoted the adherence of the best practices on maintenance activities, risk
assessment, using and applying the permit systems to ensure safe work
practice and work place.

layout, did the codification in Ashaka, sent 2 staff to Lyon to review and get
the codification validated which was done, the codification was offloaded on

(Championed the installation of Lotus Notes work order, suggested supplier
same that installed in Shagamu Plant, codified the Plant equipment for the
