Victoria Spartz for Congress: GOP Primary Voter Poll, December 2022
A poll conducted by Response:AI with GOP primary likely voters in Indiana shows strong initial support for Victoria
Spartz for U.S. Senate against several other potential candidates. The poll consisted of a representative sample of 503
registered voters identifying as Republicans or Independents, who indicate that they are likely to vote in the upcoming
Republican primary election.
When presented with an initial ballot, Mitch Daniels performs best, with 35% of respondents saying they would
“definitely” or “probably” vote for him if the primary election were held today. Victoria Spartz, however, comes in 2nd
,
with 14% support in the initial ballot, slightly edging out Jim Banks. Support for Spartz is considerably greater than that
seen for the other candidates tested: Trey Hollingsworth, Jennifer-Ruth Green and Curtis Hill. Fully 17% of likely primary
voters are currently undecided.
If the Republican primary election was held today, and the following U.S. Senate candidates were on the ballot, which
one of these would you vote for?
Victoria Spartz would begin a U.S. Senate primary in the top tier in terms of name identification despite only having
served one term in Congress.
