Mr.Afolabi Abayomi has been known to me since Apri1200S where he served in the capacity of
Assistant Food and Beverage Manager while I was serving in the capacity of Food and Beverage
Manager at Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos, Nigeria.
During this period of our association, I have found Afolabi to be extremely competent in all
aspects of Food and Beverage operations and, even more so, as a key member of the senior
executive Food and Beverage Management team.
His organizational and communication skills facilitated sound judgment, excellent interaction
with team-members and stamped his authority as a charismatic leader graced with compassion
and integrity.
He is extremely reliable, loyal, efficient and results oriented which has contributed to him being
such an over achiever. Mr. Abayomi would unfailingly display a great sense of initiative,
responsibility and dedication in every task he successfully undertook.
His responsibilities, involvement and invaluable contribution touched upon the following areas:
Purchasing, Receiving and Storing, Inventoxy Management, F&B cost control, Menu Pricing,
Service Quality and Delivexy, Payroll Management, Training, Budget Preparation.
He was, therefore, actively involved in all aspects of Food and Beverage activities.
It was truly a pleasure working with him and based on his expertise, personality and selfless
dedication, it is my fervent hope that he would continue to be an inspiration and make his mark
in the global hospitality industty.
