1. Angel Ventures (AV) is a leading, generalist early-stage Venture Capital (VC) firm,
founded in 2008 in Mexico City and investing across Latin America.
The firm’s second fund will focus in the Pacific Alliance (PA) territories -Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru-. When
considered as a bloc, the PA region represents the eighth largest economy worldwide, with a combined population of
225M and a USD two trillion nominal GDP.
Inspired by AV´s mission to bolster the development of early-stage enterprises, we launched the AV Fellows Program.
AV Fellows is a pioneer one-year leadership program for MBA candidates at top-tier business schools, during their
first or second year of study whom are interested in the Latin American PE/VC markets and desire to work with high
potential and innovative companies in an underpenetrated market.
As an AV fellow, you will closely work with AV´s co-founders and team, gaining valuable access and a deep understanding
of the Latin American VC ecosystem.
If you are a first year candidate entering the program and are interested in doing your summer internship at AV, you will
be given priority to do so in any of our Portfolio Companies or AV offices (subject to availability).
If you are a second year student and you are looking for a job after graduation, you will have exclusive access to our talent
pool website, either through our Portfolio Companies and offices, or through our extensive network in the Mexican or
Latin American PE/VC market.
The AV Fellows Program application consists of three phases:
Sept. 19, 2016 to Oct. 7, 2016 - Submission of Online Application. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Oct. 14, 2016 - Online Interview invitation.
Oct. 17, 2016 to Oct. 21, 2016 - Interviews.
Oct. 26, 2016 - Final Decision. Exceptional candidates will be offered acceptance to the AV Fellows Program based on
the strength of their application and interview.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about our mission and excited to be part of our growing team.
This will be a unique opportunity to experience working at one of the most important VC funds in Latin America.
Manage the incubation process for one of Archetype’s, -our high-impact incubator- companies, optimizing their
business and financial models and pitch, to groom it for investment. (Dedicate at least 10 hours per month)
Networking with service providers and all members of the VC-ecosystem, adding value to our community.
Acting as an AV ambassador, meeting with founders, entrepreneurs, and industry experts. Sourcing and evaluating
new investment opportunities.
Currently enrolled in an MBA program from a top-tier school (1st or 2nd year).
Available and committed throughout the duration of the program: November 1 through May 31
Passionate about the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Superior analytical and strategic-thinking skills, combined with sound business judgement and the ability to
challenge and question the status quo.
Strong networking skills and willing to leverage them.
Willing to sign an NDA with the assigned company.
Fluent in Spanish.
