CONTENT ANALYSIS: The Tattered Blanket is written by Kamala Das. 
This is the translation of the famous Malayalam short story “keeri 
polinja chakalas”. First two paragraphs show the pathetic condition 
of a mother who has lost her memory and the arrival of her son 
after long time.
