- 20. Let’s talk… Interpersonal communication is the process of exchange of information, ideas and feelings between two or more people through verbal or non- verbal methods. It often includes face-to-face exchange of information, in a form of voice, facial expressions, body language and gestures.
- 21. Let’s talk… ‘Intrapersonal communication is communication with oneself and that may include self-talk, acts of imagination and visualization, and even recall and memory.’
- 22. Let’s talk.. A 'Written Communication' means the sending of messages, orders or instructions in writing through letters, circulars, manuals, reports, telegrams, office memos, bulletins, etc. It is a formal method of communication and is less flexible.
- 23. Let’s talk… It can be used both in a downward and upward direction. Vertical communication is a type of flow of information between members of organization who are on different levels of its hierarchy.
- 24. Let’s talk… Effective communication is a process of exchanging ideas, thoughts, knowledge & information such that the purpose or intention is fulfilled in the best possible manner. In simple words, it is nothing but the presentation of views by the sender in a way best understood by the receiver.
