Mental health is defined as overall well-being. Physical and mental health are deeply connected - poor physical health can lead to depression or complexes, while poor mental health can cause unhealthy behaviors affecting physical health. Maintaining good physical and mental health contributes to overall well-being. The phrase "How are you?" can positively or negatively impact mental health. Positively, it makes people feel cared for, attached to the asker, and motivated. However, it may also make uncomfortable people feel nosy or further spoil a bad mood. A healthy conversation builds trust, teaches healthy communication, leaves both parties happy, and marks the beginning of a meaningful relationship where both learn. It can improve a bad

2. What is mental health?
Mental health is the overall well being of a person. Why is it overall well being?The reason is given
below-
Mental health and physical health are deeply related. If one suffers from a bad physical
health,there are chances that their mental health also gets affected. They may fall into depression ,
or may develop an inferiority complex or in order to forget their issues, work in such a way which
may tire them out and harm them, sometimes.
On the other hand, if one suffers from am bad mental health, they may develop habits such as
binge-eating, drug abuse or sleep issues which will affect their physical health.
Therefore, if one has to have a good mental health, then he or she must also have a good physical
health, which will contribute to their overall well being and vice-versa.

3. How does the word ‘HOW ARE YOU’ affect one’s mental
health?
The simple word’ HOW ARE YOU’ affects one’s mental health in both positive and
negative ways.

The word HOW ARE YOU affects one’s mental health positively in the following ways-
1. They feel happy that there is at least someone who wants to know about them.
2. They feel mentally attached to that person which in turn, may be the beginning of
a WONDERFUL RELATIONSHIP.
3. They feel that they are worthy, as they are thought-about by someone and that,
there is someone who wants their response too as well as someone who cares for
their well being.
4. They get motivated by the other person(as it is good manners to ask HOW ARE
YOU before a conversation and feels like doing the same while they talk to
another).

5. HOW DOES THE WORD HOW ARE YOU AFFECT
ONE’S MENTAL HEALTH IN A NEGATIVE WAY?
The word HOW ARE YOU also affects one’s mental health negatively.They are as
follows-
1.Sometimes, the listener may feel uncomfortable or that the other person is too
nosy.
2.They may not be in a good mood which will further spoil their mood.

6. HOW CAN A HEALTHY CONVERSATION AFFECT
ONE’S MENTAL HEALTH?
1.A healthy conversation makes the listener trust and confide in the speaker.
2.The listener too learns to converse in a healthy manner(if it is a one-way conversation,even though
mostly,healthy conversation must be a two-way conversation).
3.A healthy conversation makes the both the people happy, satisfied and contented at the end of it.
4. It marks the beginning of a healthy and meaningful RELATIONSHIP.
5.Both the speakers learn a lot at the end of the conversation.
6. If any of them has a bad mood, they get changed into a good one after the conversation as it makes them
forget their past or grief……
