What did they had in Common..
‘Sacrifice’
• Wikipedia defines Sacrifice as the offering of food,
objects or the lives of animals to a higher purpose or
to God or the gods as an act
  of propitiation or worship.

• Great achievement is usually born of great sacrifice,
and is never the result of selfishness.
  -Napoleon Hill
Few Quotes on Sacrifice

• Let us sacrifice our today so that our children can
  have a better tomorrow.
  -Abdul Kalam
• I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears, and
  sweat.
  - Sir Winston Churchill
• Life's most urgent question is: What are you
  doing for others?
  -Martin Luther King, Jr.
Sacrifice in Religions.
• ISLAM
• In Islam, all that is demanded as a sacrifice is
one’s personal willingness to submit one’s ego
  and individual will to Allah.
• HINDUISM
• Animal sacrifice, called Bhuta yajna in
Sanskrit, is widely accepted in Bali--much
  more than in India.
• CHRISTIANITY
• The notion of sacrifice emerged in the early Christian
communities in several different contexts. The life of
Christ, culminating in his Passion and death, was
  seen as the perfect Sacrifice.
Does God Need Blood?
• Psalms 50:13
Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goat?
-For it is not Possible that the blood of bulls and goats
  will take away your sins.
-Heb 10:4
Christ offered Himself as a sacrifice unto God!
Then What is Sacrificing?
• Sacrifice is the Passion of Soul. It means
Offering to God, the things we Love the Most.
• Preparation for the spiritual
    world
• The Prophets and the Messengers of God have
been sent down for the sole purpose of
guiding mankind to the straight Path of Truth.
The purpose underlying their revelation hath
been to educate all men, that they may, at the
hour of death, ascend, in the utmost purity
and sanctity and with absolute detachment, to
the throne of the Most High
• Learn to sacrifice
• Self-sacrifice means to subordinate this lower
  nature and
its desires to the more Godly and noble side
  of our selves.
• Ultimately, in its highest sense, self-sacrifice
means to give our will and our all to do with
  as He pleases(GOD).
• Then he purifies and glorifies our true self
until it becomes a shining and wonderful
  reality.
THANK YOU.
