At the end of the lesson
students will be able to
learn verbs for cooking
and linkers: first/ then/
next/ finally
How we use
Sequencing refers to the order in which
events happened. These are some of the
most common ways to sequence in writing
or speaking:
Order
Beginning:
  Firstly,
Continuing:
 Then,
 After that,
 Next,
Ending:
   Finally,
Go to the next page to learn how to
figure out the sequence or order of
a story.
Susan made a peanut butter and
 jelly sandwich. ____, she spread
 peanut butter on one slice of
 bread. ____, she spread jelly on
 one slice of bread. ___ spreading
 the jelly on, she put the two slices
 of bread together. ____, she ate
 it. It was delicious!
