Assalamo Alaikum wa-Rahmatullahi wa-Barakatuhu,
On 9th
April, 2020, the night befalling Thursday, is Lailatul-Barat (Shab-e-Barat). Fasting on two
days - Thursday (9th
April) and Friday (10th
April) is considered as an extremely pious and
spiritually-rewarding act. However, these fasts are complementary and people can fast for two
days or even one, depending upon one’s free will.
The night of Lailatul-Barat is exceptionally full of Allah’s bounty and prosperity. It’s a night when
the decree of Allah is created for HIS entire creation,especially mankind. It’s not meant for merry-
making. This night calls for sincere prayers, vigorous chants of Allah’s verses glorifying HIS sole
supremacy and omnipotence, and deep repentance of endless sins committed in one’s lifetime.
Having the threat of Corona Virus Epidemic around us, it has become imperative for every
believer to beg for forgiveness and mercy of Allah, and pray for protection from the epidemic.

Everyone should follow the Corona Virus Outbreak prevention guidelines issued by the
government. Hence, we should stay at home and isolate ourselves from every public places like
markets, offices, restaurants, temples, mosques, churches and other places of social interaction.
The more we isolate ourselves, the better we will have the chance to prevent the Corona Virus
from spreading any further and therefore, we can keep our homes, neighborhoods and our
country as a whole safe and free of this deadly disease.
This year, every muslim should avoid going to graveyards during the night of Shab-e-Barat.
Instead, they can pray for their deceased relatives and friends at home. Allah will deliver their
prayers and blessings to their dead relatives and loved ones. So, no matter from where one prays,
his/her deceased loved ones will receive the benefits of the prayers. Any irresponsible behavior
might destroy a person and his/her family.
Hazrat Muhammad Rasool Karim (s.a.w) said that a judicious believer will never embarrass
himself/herself through one’s foolish deeds. Companions (Sahabah-e-Kram – May Allah be
pleased with them) asked How? He (s.a.w) replied by not getting into trouble beyond one’s
means and capacity of control. (Tirmidhi – 2254 Hadith).
Once during the reign of second Khalifa of the Islamic world, Hazrat Umar Farook (may Allah be
pleased with him) an epidemic broke out. So, one of the believers, Hazrat Amr-Ibnul Aas (may
Allah be pleased with him) informed his people that epidemics spread like wildfires and hence,
he divided his people into several small groups and asked them to isolate themselves into nearby
hilltops for several days. He also instructed them to avoid all sorts of social gatherings. These
small groups of people stayed isolated in their respective places and many of the infected people
amongst them died in due course of time. While they sacrificed their lives and became martyrs.
On the other hand, they saved their society from the dreadful disease and helped prevent further
death and destruction.
Finally, Hazrat Amr-Ibnul Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) and the remaining people returned

Hence, all believers are earnestly requested to stay isolated this Lailatul-Barat and pray within
the safety of their homes.
Lastly, Allah’s most beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.w) said that if due to any
unavoidable circumstances (like travel or sickness) a regularly repeated pious deed gets
obstructed, and the doer is trapped in his/her home, then he/she will receive the same amount
of rewards that he/she would have received for the same deed made during suitable times.

हजरत मौलाना सूफी मुफ्ती अजा़ांगची रहमतुल्लाह-अलैहे की हक्कानी अंजुमन इस्लाममक कै लेंडर में
कु छ खास दिनों में संिेश साझा करती है, यानी, शब-ए-बारात (अरबी में लेलतुल-बारात के रूप में कहा
जाता है)।
अस्सलामो अलैकु म वा-रहमतुल्लादह वा-बरकातु,
9 अप्रैल, 2020, गुरुवार की रात, लैलातुल-बारात (शब-ए-बारात) है। िो दिनों के उपवास - गुरुवार (9
अप्रैल) और शुक्रवार (10 अप्रैल) को अत्यंत पववत्र और आध्यात्त्मक रूप से पुरस्कृ त करने वाला कायय
माना जाता है। हालााँकक, ये उपवास लोग एक दिन या िो दिन के मलए कर सकते हैं।
लैलातुल-बारात की रात असाधारण रूप से अल्लाह की अमानत और समृवि से भरी होती है। यह एक
ऐसी रात है जब अल्लाह के फरमान को पूरी सृत्टि, ववशेषकर मानव जातत के मलए बनाया जाता है। यह
मनोरंजन के मलए नहीं है। यह रात ईमानिारी से प्रार्यनाओं के मलए है, अल्लाह के छंिों के जोरिार मंत्रों
से उनका एकमात्र वर्यस्व और सवयशत्क्तमानता का बयान ककया जाता है और इस जीवनकाल में ककए
गए अंतहीन पापों का गहरा पश्र्ाताप करना होता है।
हमारे आस-पास कोरोना वायरस महामारी का खतरा होने के कारण, यह हर आत्स्तक के मलए क्षमा और
अल्लाह की िया की भीख मांगने के मलए जरूरी हो गया है, और महामारी से सुरक्षा के मलए प्रार्यना करना
आवश्यक है।
हर ककसी को सरकार द्वारा कोरोना वायरस के प्रकोप से बर्ाव के मलए जारी ककए गए दिशातनिेशों का
पालन करना र्ादहए। इसमलए, हमें घर पर रहना र्ादहए और बाजार, कायायलयों, रेस्तरां, मंदिरों, मत्स्जिों,
र्र्ों और सामात्जक संपकय के अन्य स्र्ानों जैसे हर सावयजतनक स्र्ानों से खुि को अलग रखना र्ादहए।
त्जतना अधधक हम खुि को अलग करते हैं, उतना ही बेहतर होगा इस कोरोना वायरस को फै लने से रोकने
का मौका ममलेगा ।

इसके तहत, हम अपने घरों, आस-पडोस और हमारे िेश को इससे पूरी तरह से सुरक्षक्षत और मुक्त रख
पायेंगे।
इस वषय, प्रत्येक मुत्स्लम को शब-ए-बारात की रात के िौरान कब्रिस्तान जाने से बर्ना र्ादहए। हम घर
पर अपने मृतक ररश्तेिारों और िोस्तों के मलए प्रार्यना कर सकते हैं। अल्लाह अपने मृत ररश्तेिारों और
वप्रयजनों को हमारी प्रार्यना और आशीवायि प्रिान करेगा। कही से कोई भी प्रार्यना करता हो, उसके मृतक
वप्रयजनों को प्रार्यनाओं का लाभ ममलेगा। कोई भी गैर-त्जम्मेिाराना व्यवहार ककसी व्यत्क्त और उसके
पररवार को नटि कर सकता है।
हज़रत मुहम्मि रसूल करीम (स.अ.व.) ने कहा कक एक वववेकशील आत्स्तक कभी भी अपने आप को एक
मूखयतापूणय कायय के माध्यम से शममिंिा नहीं करेगा। साधर्यों (सहाबा-ए-करम - अल्लाह उनसे खुश हो) ने
पूछा कै से? उन्होंने (s.a.w) कहााँ कक वह व्यत्क्त अपना साधन और तनयंत्रण की क्षमता से अधधक कोई
परेशानी अपने ऊपर नहीं लयेगा। (ततममयधध - 2254 हिीस)।
एक बार इस्लामी िुतनया के िूसरे खलीफा के शासनकाल के िौरान, हज़रत उमर फारूक (अल्लाह उस पर
प्रसन्न हो सकते हैं) एक महामारी फै ल गई। इसमलए, ववश्वामसयों में से एक, हज़रत अम्र-इब्नुल आस
(उनपे अल्लाह खुश हो) ने अपने लोगों को सूधर्त ककया कक महामारी जंगल की आग की तरह फै लती है
और इसमलए, उन्होंने अपने लोगों को कई छोिे समूहों में ववभात्जत ककया और उन्हें कू छ दह िुर पहाडडयों
मे अलग अलग रहने के मलए भेज दिया। उन्होंने सभी प्रकार के सामात्जक समारोहों से बर्ने का भी
तनिेश दिया। लोगों के ये छोिे समूह अपने-अपने स्र्ानों पर अलग-र्लग कु छ दिन तक पडे रहे और
उनमें से कई संक्रममत लोगों की उस समय महामारी से मृत्यु हो गई।
एक तरफ उन्होंने अपनी जान कु बायन कर िी और शहीि हो गए। िूसरी ओर, उन्होंने अपने समाज को
भयानक बीमारी से बर्ाया और मृत्यु और ववनाश को रोकने में मिि की।
अंत में, कु छ दिन बाि हज़रत अम्र-इब्नुल आस (अल्लाह उस पर प्रसन्न हो) और बर्ें-कु र्े लोग अच्छे
स्वास््य लेकर अपने घरों को लौि गए। (स्रोत: इब्नुल-असीर, अल-काममल कफत-ताररक, मुख्तसरू

इसमलए, सभी ववश्वामसयों से अनुरोध ककया जाता है कक वे इस लैलातुल-बारात में अलग-र्लग रहे और
अपने घरों की सुरक्षा के मलए प्रार्यना करें।
अंत में, अल्लाह के सबसे वप्रय पैगंबर हजरत मुहम्मि (स) ने कहा कक अगर ककसी भी अपररहायय

पररत्स्र्ततयों (जैसे यात्रा या बीमारी) के कारण एक तनयममत रूप से िोहराया गया पववत्र काम बाधधत हो
जाता है, और कताय अपने घर में फं स जाता है, तो वह उपयुक्त समय के िौरान ककए गए समान काम के
मलए जो पुन्य ममलता हो उसे उतना ही प्राप्त होगा। (हिीस: 2736, अबू-िाऊि, ककताबुल जनाज़ा)।
