1850 Compromise
Desirhea Morton, Alexis Bae, Kennady
   Engelhardt , and Isabelle Wright
What is a Compromise??

An agreement or a settlement of a dispute
that is reached by each side making an
      agreement
Compromise Made between
North-South

The states that already had slavery were
able to keep it, but slavery wouldn’t
expand to states that didn’t previously
    have/ allow slavery
What the north wanted

They wanted slaves to be free
 human beings.
What the south wanted

They wanted the southern part of
 California for slave territory
What changed since the last
     major compromise

Slavery is not a big problem any
     more in the U.S.A .
How did it differ from the last
agreement

     It differs because the 1850
compromise was on slaves and the
     Dutch Ritual compromise involved
     killing to many animals.
