2. The meaning of SIN
• Sin is an immoral act considered to be a
transgression against divine law:a sin in the
eyes of God (Oxford Dictionary)
• moral evil as considered from a religious
standpoint. Sin is regarded in Judaism and
Christianity as the deliberate and purposeful
violation of the will of God (Encyclopaedia
Britannicca)

transgression of the law of God" (1John
3:4 ; Romans 4)
4. According Some Theories
There are two point of view about (man)
depravity which were caused by sin
• Some people believe that sin deprave man
totally, but some people believe that sin
didn’t deprave man totally.
5. The Bible teaching about SIN
Old Testament
• The first human who were sinned were
Adam & Eve.
• Sin was forgiven by God through the
sacrifice of animals (Book of Leviticus)
• Sin separated men from God (Gen. 3:24
;Is. 59:2)

New Testament
• Through Adam, sin entered the world (Rm.
5:12)
• All people have sinned and fall short of the
glory of God (Rm. 3:23)
• The wages of sin is death (Rm. 6:23)
• Sin was forgiven only through Jesus
Christ’s sacrifice (Heb. 10:12)
7. Applications
• We realize that we are sinner, there’s none
righteous in this world.
• We believe in Jesus and repent from our
sins
• The doctrine made us to know about sin,
God’s love more. So we know more about
God’s will.

1. God is omniscience, so the sin is in God’s
foreknowledge. Is sin included in God’s plan?
2. How are the Evangelical’s view & Liberal’s
view about sin. It’s same or not?
3. Who are the pioneer about man depravity
that were caused by sin.
10. • We think you have known that it’s God never
plans sin. For man sinned caused free will of
man. But God know about sin in His
foreknowledge.
• Evangelical’s view:
Liberal’s view: Even they didn’t believe story of
falling of Adam in sin as the fact. They believe
sin of man don’t has correlation with Adam’s sin
because for them there is only actual sin.
