5. Wa-min twaa- ’atika – maa – tu-bal-li-ghu-naa – bi-hii – ridw-waa-naka And obedience towards You, that helps us achieve Your Redha (Your being pleased with us), All Rights Reserved © Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail 2011

6. Wa-minal- ya- qee-ni – maa- ya-huu-nu – ‘alay-naa – bihi – mu-swee-baa-tud- dun-yaa And the certainty that makes all the miseries of the world seem insignificant. All Rights Reserved © Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail 2011

7. Allaa-hum-ma - am-ti’-naa – bi-as-maa- ‘inaa Wa- ab-swaa-ri-naa – wa - quw-wa-tinaa maa - a h -yai-tana O Allah, make us to enjoy (and grateful to You), in our hearing, our sight, our strength as long as You keep us alive. All Rights Reserved © Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail 2011

8. Waj- ‘al-hul – waa-ri-tha – min-naa Waj- ‘al – tha’ – ra-naa – ‘alaa – man – zo-la-ma-naa Make us to inherit this, and make us to be above (to overcome, vanquish all) those who oppress us. All Rights Reserved © Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail 2011

9. Wan – swur-naa – man – ‘aa – daa - naa Wa - laa – taj - ‘al- mu – swee - ba-ta – naa Fee- dee -ni - naa And help us against those who show animosity towards us. 10. Wa-laa – taj - ’a – lid – dun –yaa – ak-ba-ra ham - mi-naa – wa – laa – mab – la – gha – ‘il - mi-naa And let not this world be our biggest concern (anxieties and worries), nor the extent of our knowledge. All Rights Reserved © Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail 2011

11. Wa- laa – tu –sal – litw – ‘a-lai-naa – man – laa – yar – h a-mu-naa, bi – ra h – ma – ti – ka yaa – ar – h a-mar – raa – h i -meen And do not appoint over us those who has no mercy towards us. 12. “ O Allah! Make sufficient for us our provision with what is lawful (halal) and not from what is forbidden (haram). 14. “ ‘ O All a h, I seek refuge in You from miserliness and cowardice, I seek refuge in You lest I be returned to the worst of lives “i.e. old age, being weak, destitute, incapable and in a state of fear, etc.”, and I seek refuge in You from the trials and tribulations of this worldly life and the punishment of the grave.” All Rights Reserved © Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail 2011
